I am in no way saying Medtronic is perfect. I STILL don't know how MM managed to avoid a class action suit over the 511 fiasco. This isn't quite as bad as the revoking of the water resistant claims for the 511, but it's nevertheless quite irritating. Sometimes I wish I could smack the person who is responsible for the poor support of their software products. I have a bad feeling that MM isn't going to update PAL to make it compatible-they told me weeks ago they had no intention of making PAL work with Vista. Carelink is web-based, so is up to date each time you access the program. Carelink USB is not compatible with PAL software because PAL is older software that has no option for using the new device. Can't get Carelink USB to work with my XP machine -during installation of drivers, it fails with a message about not finding the files it needs.ΔΆ. THen you simply slip carelink USB into a USB slot and you are all set to begin downloading data to the carelink website (or is it UPloading. Choose download data.choose Carelink USB.BE SURE NOT TO HAVE THE USB DEVICE INSTALLED AT THIS TIME.the drivers will auto load onto your PC.
